The #develop teamblog

Thanks to a patch from John Simons (he contributed an implementation for the necessary JScript Gobals object), SharpDevelop2 can now persist the Html Help settings. An example for the settings are the language filters - the below screenshot shows the default way a topic is being displayed:

Information on syntax and usage is displayed for all languages, which in most cases is inappropriate. So you can adapt the filter to your programming language preferences:

You could do that before revision 1058 too, however, upon closing and reopening (even the help browser), the language filter settings would have been lost. Now, this no longer happens (screenshot is after a restart, you simply have to trust me on this one - or even better, try the daily builds):

A seemingly small improvement, but I am sure that many developers will appreciate the effort that went into it!

I have download the lastest updates, and run it without the integrated help.
the pad still display the info as following:
"The help system is not available. You need to install the .NET Framework SDK to get the help system."

I do not know what's going on, could you help me!

By the way, in my VS2005 TeamSuite, the Help2.0 does not integrated in IDE, it always pop a new windows, I do not know what's wrong with my VS2005. is it a bug?

And I know by this link: ms-help://MS.VSCC.2003/VSCCCommon/cm/CollectionManager.htm
we can manage the help in VS2003, but what's the change in VS2005, Could you share you idea!

At last, in your project for .net 1.1 the #D build 1.1.0.2124, in the option dialog we can see your #D help system settings, but in your #D 2.0 the optional dialog is not as normal, the system setting is disabled, may you could change the #D use your own help.

thx
